This place has a fantastic location with beautiful views of the lake.

Everyone was really friendly, and the property was much nicer than I expected for a Double Tree property.

It was a holiday weekend, so the pool was packed.

The staff are very pleasant. The location is magnificent. It's located 2 miles from a sprawling public park. It has an excellent full-service restaurant for breakfast.

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. The pool was nice and the pool hours were also great. Nice restaurant on site and other places to eat nearby.

Other than the pool there was nothing for children to do outside of the room.

The staff here are so professional, I was really impressed with them. They offer a lot of great services like a nice bar, free Wi-Fi, and even a shuttle to the airport. 😊

We didn't get room with balcony and lake view as booked. We had to move from first room due to it not having neither a balcony nor lake view. We moved to the only other optional room with balcony but without lake view. Had to ask a bit before we received half of what we booked.

They should offer Complementary Breakfast. Or at least a Bagel or fruit.

The location of this hotel is very close to a very good restaurant in Durham, NC over Memorial Day weekend, which was nice. The room was a nice size with a microwave and refrigerator, and everything was immaculate. The hotel had good food and a professional staff.

We ate in the in house restaurant. The food was excellent, but our waitress was rather cavalier regarding service. Our appetiser came with our meal, and was left on the table with comment, "Hope you don't mind." Before we could say we did, she was gone.

It was great that there was a door that was dividing the bedroom from the rest of the suite since I was traveling with my friend and her baby. The room was clean as well.

using Booked.net didnt guarantee our room. When we got there we didnt get anything close to the room we needed. (two beds, my friend her baby, and me 5 months pregnant) I was not comfortable sleeping on the pull out couch. And we got there right around 4pm, this hotels check in time. The desk clerk told me that by using Booked.net we were given the room price but we got whatever was open once we did check in. Too bad we were attending a conference at the hotel and it was almost all booked up. Also, the receipt stated continental breakfast. Every hotel I have stayed in that has stated that there was breakfast, it was included in the price we paid for the hotel room not as an additional cost. The room we stayed in, room 717, was next to the elevators. All night long we heard them run and the air conditioning units run. It was very noisy! As for check out, we were attending a conference that was getting over at 12pm. I called to see if we could arrange for a later check out time so we would not be charged anything additional. The staff person I spoke to was so rude, she didnt even offer to make an arrangement with us I had to ask if we could check out later. She told me I could have until 12:30. No sorry about the issue, how can I resolve this problem. All got was " I get you are at a conference, we dont offer late check out." Well thank you so much for understanding and trying to make our stay nice, not to mention your lovely phone presence. I will not be returning to this hotel. And I also will not be using Booked.net for further hotel bookings. I want a room for a good price but I also want the room that I book, not what ever is left once I check in.

The room was impressive, fairly quiet, and had a granite bathroom with a hairdryer, bidet, and robes. The location is marvellous and perfect, adjacent to an amazing lake, pool, paddle boats, and walking trails in Durham. Close to shops with excellent views.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and good. The staff was great and very helpful. The free shuttle was a lifesaver.

Hilton, forcing people to book through you directly in order to get free WiFi is a marketing stunt that will ultimately backfire.

Room was large and comfortable, bed very nice, comfy, good sheets... Some wear in bathroom, a light fixture in kitchen feel down out of the ceiling, I pushed it back in some. So small things not so great, but otherwise very nice.

A little wear and tear...but very spacious and comfortable, two large flat screen tv's...
